Prudhoe North councillor Angie Scott has been demonstrating her dedication to people in the town in the shape of Prudhoe Community Hub which provides much needed employment and skills advice.

Angie said: “The Prudhoe Community Hub complements the services provided by the Spetchells Centre, Community Action Northumberland (CSN) and The Bridge Northumberland Employment Hub.

“We know people want to work, but they often face issues with getting the support they need to reach their education, employment and training goals.

“The Hub is designed to give people information about further education, career advice and apprenticeships.

“Volunteering can be a way into work because it provides many of the skills needed for work, and we can help with Volunteering in Prudhoe (ViP) information.”

The hub will be open every Friday from 10am until 4pm at 61 Front Street, Prudhoe NE42 5AA.
