Northumberland Labour says a Labour government would help people with the cost of living while also making the country cleaner and greener.

 Leader Scott Dickinson said: “As one of the counties furthest away from the goings on in Westminster I find it frustrating that the Tory party politicians are busy fighting amongst themselves while many Northumbrians are just wondering how they’re going to manage day-to-day.

“They seem to have forgotten what’s important to people.

 “I want a government where Northumbrians know they’ve got your back.

 “A plan to insulate homes to reduce energy bills and help the planet at the same time is a no-brainer to me. These are the practical things a Labour government want to put into place. These are things which will make a real, practical difference to people being able to afford to live in a comfortable home.

 “We’ve had 13 years of excuses and a government that’s let many people down. It’s time for a change.”
